Abstract

The church is an organization that is quite close to society, with this, every Christian must have an awareness of how to be a light in darkness, which means every Christian must be able to show Christ in every aspect of the life they live. Being light in darkness requires the role of a personal figure, namely the Holy Spirit, who always makes Christians conform to the Person of Christ. Understanding the role of the Holy Spirit is how every Christian can carry out the three duties of the church, namely koinonia, marturia and diakonia. Where Koinonia, which means fellowship, is a very important thing for everyone to do because Christians can have fellowship together in Christ. Marturia, Christians must also do this, namely witnessing, where every Christian must be able to testify about everything that God has done in their lives, to show the light of Christ in their lives. And finally, is diakonia. Where every Christian must be able to serve, as God has exemplified in what He does in this world, namely to be able to serve one another. The role of the Holy Spirit in every believer is how they can live according to the will of Christ and can be a light that has an impact on society.
